The re-development of the Princes
Dock on the historic Liverpool waterfront was seen as a turning
point in Liverpool’s economic recovery. At the heart of
this re-development was a major, internationally branded hotel
property, needed to provide core infrastructure for the emergent
business district. Centre Island, with a proven track record in
this field,was approached by Princes Dock Company to operate the
hotel.
Since its opening in 1998 the hotel has consistently maintained
its position as the finest in the city. It has been recognised
throughout the region and by InterContinental Hotels Group for
the exceptional standard of service it delivers, whilst consistently
out-performing its competitors in Liverpool.
