Company Structure


Centre Island, own operate and manage a portfolio of hotels under various ownership structures. Each hotel has its own trading and ownership structure making all businesses stand-alone trading entities.

Freehold and Leasehold Hotels

These hotels are operated primarily on city centre sites owned ultimately by the local authority. These include Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre, Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre and Holiday Inn Preston City Centre.

Centre Island adopts a flexible approach when exploring a new business opportunity, making it possible for us to create a unique package of rental formulas and financial covenants to suit the scheme and our development partners. With a strong capital base from which to grow and an experienced, decisive management team, we can move quickly and effectively to make things happen.

Centre Island also has leasehold arrangements with some of the UK's largest owners and developers – Peel Holdings and Land Securities being two examples.

Management Contracts

Centre Island Management Ltd. Is the management subsidiary of Centre Island. The company seeks management contracts with owners/developers to operate 3rd party assets on their behalf.

Centre Island work closely with major UK banks to support them in managing their hotel assets.

Global Brands

Centre Island has partnered Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) in developing and managing hotels across all sectors of the UK hotel market.
